NEW YORK TRIBUNE, Aug. 6, 1863  Among the front page one column heads on the Civil War are: "From the Army of the Potomac" "From Vicksburg & Vicinity" "Great Excitement at Columbus, Ohio" & more. Page 2 has: "The Freedmen--Abstract of a Preliminary Report of the American Freedmen's Inquiry Commission to the Sec. of War" which is concerning Blacks and "Negroes as Refugees". Other war news inside.
