THE EDINBURGH ADVERTISER, Scotland, Jan. 30, 1770 Page 2 has an item: "...letter from Boston, New England, mentions that the late detection of several merchants in clandestinely importing goods for their own private advantage, contrary to the general resolution, had determined great numbers to abide no longer by those agreements..." which concerns the non-importation agreement (see).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, nice condition.
