THE NEWS AND OBSERVER, Raleigh, North Carolina, April 6, 1951 The front page features a three column, two line headline "Husband-Wife Spies to Die; Another to Serve 30 Years" which was "for passing A-bomb secrets to Russia in a crime that 'altered the course of history.'"  This also includes photos of Julius Rosenberg, Ethel Rosenberg and Morton Sobell. The fourth member of the conspiracy, David Greenglass (Ethel's brother) was scheduled to be sentenced the following day but was being recommended for leniency because he pleaded guilty an became the government's chief witness against his own sister and her husband.

Other news, including Korean war news, sports and advertisement of the day are within the issue.

This is complete in 34 pages, contains six small bind holes in the left spine margin, some lite staining along the left spine, otherwise in good condition.
