A nice newspaper from the capital of the Confederate which has war-related reporting on the front page including: "The Battle In Kentucky" "The Northern Account of the Battle" "Full Details Of The Action" "Desperate Fighting on Both Sides" "The Death of General Zollicoffer" "The Fortifications & Camps". This is a great accounting of the Battle of Bill Springs, Kentucky, considered the first significant Union victory of the war. A significant report which has many subheads & great to have on the front page.
War-related reports carry over to pages 2 & 3 as well where are found items headed: "The Fortifications Near Savannah, Ga."
