DAILY RICHMOND EXAMINER, Virginia, January 21, 1862 The front page has many ads but also has reports headed: "The Courts "City Intelligence" and a full column on: "Interesting From The North - Notes On The War" which has some subheads.
Page 2 has a lengthy & interesting editorial, as well as: "The Fight at Prestonsburg, Kentucky" and much reporting from the "Legislature OF Virginia" and also a nice report headed: "The Death of Ex-President Tyler--Public Honours to His memory", and: "The Army And The Press" & "Military Literature of The South.
Page 3 has: "From The South Carolina Coast", "The Courts", "Telegraphic News" "Bloody Affray" and other smaller items. The back page is entirely taken up with ads and a large number of Acts from the Confederate Congress, many relating specifically to the Civil War.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, minor wear at margin, very nice condition.
