CONNECTICUT MIRROR, Hartford, Connecticut, December 17, 1810  Page two of this issue features many reports relating to the West Florida Independence. Included in is the President's message including the Proclamtion of the division of the lands: "...Now be it known, that I , JAMES MADISON, President of the United States of America, in pursuance of these weighty and urgent considerations, have deemed it right and requisite, that possession should be taken of the said territory, in the name and behalf of the U. States..." and is signed in type: JAMES MADISON. Also included are extracts of a letter from Governor Holmes of the Mississippi Territory and a letter from The Convention of Floriday to the Governor of the Mississippi Territory, as well as a Declaration from the West-Florida convention.

Other news and numerous advertisements are within the issue. An illustrated advertisement is of a fencing exhibition to be given by a Mr. P. Thomas.

This is complete in four pages with some very lite foxing, otherwise is in very nice condition. See photos for details.
