Inside has a report under "America" with items from the Charlestown Gazette (see photos) including a report of: "...a quarrel amongst the sailors where the resentment was carried to such a height as to produce open hostilities & fight with fire-arms, the French sailors from their vessels & the American sailors & others from the shore...". Another item notes: "...prepare you for agreeable news. The two provinces of Georgie and South Carolina are at present under the British flag, subdued by Colonel Campbell & every thing here wears an appearance of their total subjection. The representative for Georgia, in Congress, is at present a prisoner on board the Ardent." (see photos)
Eight pages, 8 by 11 inches, a bit close-trimmed at some right margins, nice condition.
