Page 2 has a report from New York that: "...The General Assembly is broke up after protesting against the proceedings of the General Congress & after having ordered the petition to King & Parliament, praying their aid to relieve them from the oppression they labour under from some of their own countrymen." Also: "Affected with the deepest concern by the distressed state of the Colonies, & impressed with a due sense of the fatal consequences attending the unhappy dispute between Great Britain & his Majesty's American dominions, we feel the most afflicting anxiety at the alarming crisis..." with more (see photos).
Complete in four pages, folio size, narrow slit at the blank spine margin, otherwise mostly in nice condition.
