THE MASSACHUSETTS CENTINEL, Boston, October 11, 1786 The middle column of the ftpg. is mostly taken up with reports on various experiments by: "The ingenious Doctor Priestly..." (see for the beginning). Page 3 has an item from Washington County, Pennsylvania, concerning trouble with Indians (see). Over a full column on the bkpg. is the conclusion of a poem: "An Address to the Officers & Soldiers of the American Army" by David Humphreys, Colon in the army & Aid-de-Camp to George Washington.
Four pages, very nice condition.
