DUNLAP'S AMERICAN DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, May 27, 1791 Page 3 has an extract of a letter from Charleston, which says Washington spent several days there and was about to leave for Georgia, mentioning in part that: "Never did man meet with a more cordial reception than he has in this place...his speedy... departure, spreads a gloom...that (as a city) this is the last time we shall have an opportunity of seeing...the great Defender of the Rights of Man." (see).
Other news of the day and several interesting ads as well. Four pages, folio size, nice condition.
