The front page has news which includes: "...the troops landed at the Chesapeake by M. LeGrasse, that M. Du Barras embarked in his squadron between 2 and 3000 men from Rhode Island...the situation of Lord Cornwallis & the British army must be very far from safe--Green, Wayne & Stevens on one side, with the rebel army; and the Marquis de la Fayette with between 5 and 6000 French on the other." An inside page has reports from the Boston Gazette (see). Eight pages, 9 by 12 inches, never bound nor trimmed (desired), some foxing, generally very nice condition.
