NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Maryland, October 22, 1836  Within the issue is "The Army" report which contains the names of Lt. Magruder and Lt. Lee showing being assigned to Special Duty. Also within the issue is "Governor Everett has appointed Thursday, the first of December next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise in the State of Massachusetts." and principal part of the proclamation was included. This is complete in 16 pages measuring approximately 13.5 x 9 inches, is unbound and uncut with some separation at some fold-lines with some tattered edges, otherwise in good condition.
