Near the top of the front page is a report headed: "Death of Brigham Young, the Mormon Prophet, High Priest and President", with the report beginning: "Brigham Young, the Mormon ruler and prophet, died yesterday in Salt Lake City in the 77th year of his age..." (see photos). More on his life includes: "...On the death of Joseph Smith, he became the leader of the Mormons....Polygamy was openly proclaimed by him in 1852 as a revelation from the Lord...".
Complete in 4 pages, very nice condition.
