FARMER"S MUSEUM, or LITERARY GAZETTE, Walpole, New Hampshire, dated August 18, 1804 This issue contains much regarding Alexander Hamilton, including the reprint of a 1798 letter from George Washington to John Adams, describing Hamilton's character. Page 3 has a heart-felt statement from Harry Croswell* re: the death of Hamilton (see images). Page 4 also has commentary from the "Association of Duelists" regarding the Hamilton/Burr duel. This issue would typically be priced higher, but it is heavily foxed. While complete in 4 pages, please view images for foxing.
