THE NEW YORK TIMES, Feb. 28, 1882 The top of the front page has: "IN MEMORY OF GARFIELD - Mr. Blaines' Eulogy Before the Houses of Congress - A Grand Audience Assembles to Listen to the Ex-Secretary's Tribute - Scenes in the Hall Before the Address - the Orator Greeted with Applause at the Conclusion" which continues inside on much of page 2. This includes the names of many of the persons outside of Congress that attended as well. The editorial page contains a report on the Eulogy as well.
This is an uncut issue and appears to be incomplete. Issue references as being with supplement, sheet containing pages 7,8, 11,12 is not within this issue. Stray handwriting is in the masthead area, a small hole is at the centerfold juncture, otherwise in good condition.
