GUNNISON DAILY REVIEW, Colorado, January 19, 1882  Page 2 has reports headed: "Grand Junction" "Immigration Pouring In & Everything Prosperous" "Names of Firms Doing Business in the New Town" "Some Excellent Suggestions to the Merchants of Gunnison" (see).
An uncommon title from this boom mining town in the southwestern quadrant of Colorado, tucked in a valley amidst the Rocky Mountains. Gunnison boomed in the late 1870's and early 1880's and was once the home of Wyatt Earp and "Texas Jack". Today there are some 5500 residents of Gunnison.
Four pages, measuring 11 1/2 by 16 inches, small binding holes at the spine, very nice, clean condition.
