Page two has a report from New York which mentions an advertisement addressed to "The Members of the Assoc. of the Sons of Liberty"…there were several letters received from the Committee of Correspondence of the town of Boston…relative to the importation of the East India Company's Tea…the Sons of Liberty came to several resolutions…not to suffer the introduction of Tea…Mr. Lamb then read to the people the act of Parliament that imposes the duty on tea imported into America…and that the duty was due on the landing of the tea….the patriotic inhabitants of the city of Phila. and the town of Boston have determined that no tea, subject to a duty by a British Act of Parliament, for the purpose of raising a revenue in America, should be landed in either of those places…this body highly approves of that spirited & patriotic conduct of our brethren of the city of Phila. & the town of Boston in support of the common liberties of America…" with even more (see photos).
Complete in 8 pages, measures 8 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice, clean condition.
