THE MASSACHUSETTS CENTINEL, Boston, Massachusetts, April 12, 1788  Page 2 has an item from England which reflects some concern for the future of slavery (see). A report from York, Pennsylvania, notes: "...there is scarcely a dissenting voice from here to the city. We are all in favour of the Constitution..." with a bit more (see).

Page 3 also has a report on the votes for governor and lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, showing John Hancock the winner (see).

Four pages, very nice condition.
