* Battle of Guilford Courthouse

An inside page has: "American News" taken from the South Carolina Gazette, datelined Charleston & noting: "...learn that Lord Cornwallis with his army was advanced to Livingston's Creek on Cape Fear River...Colonels Fenwicke and Lechmere..were surprised and taken prisoners by a small party of rebels when a more considerable body summoned the fort,which being deprived of the presence of those officers, and the defendants chiefly composed of militia, was immediately surrounded..." with more. There is also a report taken from "Gaine's New  York Gazette" which has some notes on the "Return of the Killed, Wounded and Missing..." of the continental troops from the battle of Guilford Court House, followed by the return of militia killed, wounded & missing at the same battle.
