THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, August 7, 1773 Inside has a short item: "...to officiate as Missionary among the Oneida Indians, meets with great success in his attempts to christianise these Indians. There is already an Indian school at Oneida which is in a very flourishing state & consists of 40 or 50 scholars. Great preparations are making for building a church, a thing till now unheard of among savages."
Another page has reports from the Boston Gazette takes over two columns & includes in part: "...as his opinion that other measures than declaratory acts & resolves were necessary to secure the dependence of the Colonies and...there must be an abridgment of what are called English liberties..." with much more (see for portions).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, nice condition.
