There are many headings on the front page of this issue including: "The Louisville Convention", "Second Days Proceedings of the National Democrats", "Enthusiastic Nomination of Charles O'Connor and John Quincy Adams--O'Conner Declines and Convention Adjourns till Monday to Name Another Candidate".

This party was also known as the Straight-Out Democrats. Although O'Conor (the correct spelling) declined the nomination his name still appeared on the ballot and he received almost 30,000 popular votes.

* A Republican Majority of 3,290
* Official Reasons for the Imperial Conference at Berlin

This issue is complete in 8 pages and is in good condition other then some lite, scattered foxing. (see photos)
