THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, December 6, 1774  The entire front page is taken up with a review of a pamphlet titled: "The Interest of the Merchants and Manufacturers of Great Britain in the present Contest with the Colonies stated & considered", which begins with: "This writer begins with shewing the great obligations the colonists have been under to Great Britain from their first settlement in America to the present time on account of the advantages, privileges, indulgencies and protection constantly afforded them by the parent state..." with more (see images for portions).
Reports headed: "Protests, House of Lords" mentions: "...To declare our abhorrence & detestation of the daring spirit of resistance & disobedience to the laws which so strongly prevails in the provinces of America, to obstruct, by unlawful combinations, the trading of this kingdom." (see images)
Also reported on an inside page are items from Charleston, South Carolina concerning trouble with the Creek, Cherokee, Delaware, Choctaw, and Shawnese Indians there.
Eight pages, red ink tax stamp on page two, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, very nice condition.
