THE GRAPHIC, Chicago, 1893, "An Illustrated Weekly Newspaper" as noted in the masthead, much in the style of "Harper's Weekly" but for a more mid-Western audience. A group of five issues dated July 1, 8, Oct. 21, Nov. 18, and Dec. 16, 1893.
A wealth of photos and illustrations in these issues, including: "The Spanish Caravels Passing Down Lake Michigan" "A Modern Declaration of Independence" "Fourth of July at the Exposition", photos of "California in the Columbian Exposition" "Forging the Anchor"  "Recent Sketches at Jackson Park" "Perils of Lake Navigation--Wreck of a Steamer...Near Michigan City", several photos of "Mexico" and more with the primary focus of the photos & prints  on the Columbian Exposition which was in Chicago at the time.
Each issue is complete in 20 pages, has water staining at the bottom & right margins, otherwise in nice condition.
