THE SALEM OBSERVER, Massachusetts, July 20, 1844  Page 2 has two articles concerning the Mormons, one headed: "The Mormon Temple" which includes a terrific and quite detailed account of the new Mormon temple in Nauvoo, Illinois (see), and the second headed: "The Mormon Convention" which notes that: "...a number of Mormons assembled in Baltimore...decided on account of the death of their leader, Joe Smith, to make no movement on the Presidential question." (see).
Complete in four pages, never bound nor trimmed, some rubbing to folds and minor ftpg. browning, generally good..
