There is inside page reporting on Abraham Lincoln's second inauguration with one item beginning: "As the celebration in New York city of Mr. Lincoln's second inauguration proved also to be a general celebration of our recent victories..." and another begins: "The second inauguration of Mr. Lincoln as President of the United States, and, by consequence, as the head of its Armies and Navies for the four years to come, consummates a remarkable event in the war...".
