November 30, 1861
THE NEW YORK TIMES, New York, November 30, 1861
* Rare Civil War map within Florida
* Warrington, Florida - Fort Pickens
The front page features a nice Civil War map headed: "The Scene Of Operations In Western Florida". The balance of the front page is taken up with a considerable amount of war reporting with column heads including: "Rumors From Fort Pickens" "No Breach Made in the Walls of the Fort" "Pensacola Evacuated by Order of Gen. Bragg" "THE GREAT REBELLION" "Official Announcement of the Capture of Tybee" "The Island Within Easy Mortar Distance of Fort Pulaski" and much more (see).
Eight pages, mild rubbing at central fold causes a small hole to front leaf, otherwise very nice condition.
