LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Nov. 14, 1874  Inside has five illustrations of notable buildings in San Francisco: "The "What Cheer House, A Celebrated Hotel For Miners" "The Jewish Synagogue On Sutter Street" "The Merchant's Exchange" "The California Theatre" and the "Chinese Mercantile Houses In Dupont Street".
The front page is a political cartoon showing U.S. Grant as "The Great Political Eclipse". Other prints as well.
Complete in 16 page and the front page has some binding residue in the left margin and a few margin stains, first leaf has a bit of loss in the left margin, otherwise in good condition.
