* Georgia campaign with two Civil War maps
As noted in the masthead this was the: "Gazette of The Regular & Volunteer Forces" and as such is replete with military news of all sorts.
Perhaps the highlights of this issue are the two Civil War maps found on pages 2 & 3, one headed "The Scene Of The Georgia Campaign" taking one-third of the page and having text beneath it: "The Battle of Chickamauga Creek". The other map is related and shows from Rossville to Owens Ford & Gordon's Mills & portions of Chickamauga Creek, with related text (see). This issue has some nice text on: "The Georgia Campaign"
Sixteen pages & in very nice condition. There were very few map issues in this military newspaper. This is a volume one issue.
