Harper's print with the same on a postage stamp...

This is an interesting "pair" of items, being this complete issue of this famous illustrated title which includes a very nice full page print captioned: "The Surrender of Burgoyne". The "paired" item is a one dollar U.S. postage stamp which contains the identical print (see). A great pair of items to have matted and framed. The Harper's print celebrated the 100th anniversary of the battle of Saratoga.
Other prints in this issue include a full ftpg. Nast illus: "All Quiet on the Hudson." Inside is a full pg. illus. of "The Nez Perces War." Two 1/2 pg. illus. pertaining to "The Funeral of General Custer At West Point" including "The Last Honors Over the Grave" and "Bearing the Remains to the Cemetery.
The stamp is in mint condition and the issue is complete in 16 pages and in very nice, clean condition.
