SUNDAY ILLUSTRATED MAGAZINE OF THE DAILY PICAYUNE, from New Orleans, Louisiana, dated August 17, 1913. The cover of this issue features a cowboy enjoying his smoke while relaxing in the grass with his horse close by. Within the issue are articles entitled "The Trail of the Vanishing Herd", "Pitching in a Pinch" which shows Christy Mathewson, Walter Johnson, Joe Wood, Demaree of the Giants and Hugh Bedient, Jeff Tesreau, and other stories and advertisements.
This is complete in 16 pages, the cover is slightly browned and has several tiny binding holes in the left spine, otherwise is in good condition. Very displayable. See photos for details.
