FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, from New York, dated November 7, 1891 The frontpage features a very nice portrait of "John Greenleaf Whittier, 'The Poet of Freedom,' Born December 17th, 1807" with accompany article. A fullpage illustration "The Star Trotters of To-Day" is an illustrations of nine horses. A fullpage illustration "The Contest of the Searles Will, involving an Estate of Thirty Millions of Dollars - Scenes and Persons in the Case" is comprised of eight illustrations. A fullpage illustration "Justice on the Mexican Border - Arrest and Trial of Horse-Thieves" is very displayable. A fullpage illustration "Glacier Point Rock, Yosemite Valley, California: Elevation, 3,201 Feet". Other articles and advertisements are included in this issue as well.
