April 30, 1726

MIST'S WEEKLY JOURNAL, London, England, April 30, 1726  A great issue, as the back page includes a fascinating advertisement for a book "Just published..." which is: "A General History of the PYRATES, from their first settlement in the island of Providence to the present time; with the remarkabale actions & adventures of the two Female Pyrates Mary Read and Anne Bonny, and of the following Captains, viz. Avery, Martel, Teach, alias Blackbeard, Bonnet, England, Vane, Rackum, Davis, Roberts, Anstis, Worley, Lowther, Low, Evans, Phillips, Sprig, and Smith, alias Gow, and their several crews..." Reads like a "who's who" of infamous pirates of the period.
This is complete in 4 pages and  features a red-inked tax stamp on the front page. This also has light browning at the bottom edge, generally in nice condition. See photos for details.
