This single-sheet newspaper is a fascinating paper published during this time of struggle between Catholics and Protestants in government. The front page has several items similar to: "...They set out at large the great increase of Papists in that Kingdom of lates years...that for the better security of the Protestant Religion, the sheriffs..." with more. Also: "...letters that mention that the French King was lately taken on a sudden with an extraordinary fit of vomitting, not without suspition of his being Poisoned...".
Measures about 8 by 12 inches, and in great condition with wide, untrimmed margins.
