THE ATHENIAN MERCURY, London, September 16, 1693 The back page has an advertisement for the book "A Further Account of the Tryals of the New-England WITCHES..." by Increase Mather. This is the only periodical that we have ever seen with any reference to the famous witch trials at Salem, Massachusetts. A unique and very uncommon item (see).
