MASSACHUSETTS SPY OR WORCESTER GAZETTE, November 4, 1784  The prime feature of this issue is the very handsome & ornate masthead engraving, which was done by no other than the famous Paul Revere. A handsome display issue as such.
Various news items from this period between the end of the Revolutionary War and the creation of our federal government. Great period advertising as well, including a runaway slave ad and an ad for Stage Wagons.  Also included is a portion of "The History of America", by William Robertson, taking nearly 3 1/2 columns.
Some browning in the top quadrant, otherwise quite nice condition. Complete in 4 pages.
