Page 3 has a report from the New Haven Herald: "Methodist College. We understand that the committee appointed to determine the location of the collegiate institution about to be established under the patronage of the New England Methodist Conference, have fixed upon Middletown for its establishment. The buildings lately occupied by Partridge's Military School have been appropriated to the purpose."
