THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, November 9, 1745 Considerable details of the affairs leading up to the Battle of Carlisle are present within this issue. Multiple references to "The Pretender" are included. Great to have an English account of conflicts during the Jacobite Rebellion (see images for the extent of the content).
This issue is complete in 11 pages (last page is blank) measuring approximately 7.5 by 11.5 inches. Scattered word underlining is throughout the issue; otherwise in very good condition. Several partial red ink-stamps are also present.
