The entire front page is taken up with a nice print by famed artist Winslow Homer, titled:

"The Russian Ball--In The Supper Room" showing several military officers with the ladies. Also, the doublepg. centerfold has a nice Homer print as well titled: "The Great Russian Ball at the Academy of Music, November 5, 1863".  Several other prints within this issue as well, most war related, including a fullpg: "Trapping Rebel Guerrillas in the West.", fullpg: "The War in East Tennessee--Drawing Artillery Through the Mountains", 1/4 pg. illus: "Dr. William A. Hammond, Surgeon General United States Army", halfpg. illus: "Terrible Accident at the Rush Street Bridge, Chicago", full pg: "The War in the Southwest--Guerrillas Hunting Union Men with Blood Hounds."

Complete 16 pg. issue, nice condition.
