Within this 116 page soft bound catalog is a fascinating assortment of over 500 newspapers from the Old West including many titles which virtually never come on the market. Several of the listings are illustrated & many California titles from the 1840's are included. A very fine reference work containing an enviable list of titles for any newspaper collection. Included also is an: "Introduction to San Francisco Journalism, 1846-1906".
