The back page has several items on the French & Indian War in America including a report from the New York Gazette which includes: "A Summary Narrative of the Conduct of the Oneida Indians previous to the Attack of the French & their Indians upon the North Side of the German Flats in the Province of New York" (see) which is followed by a letter from the Chief Oneida Sachem which begins:
* I can't help telling you that we were very much surprised to hear that our brethren the English suspect & charge us with not giving them timely notice of the designs of the French...
Also on the back page is an: "Extract of a letter from Albany...giving a Particular account of the Outrages at the German Flats near Fort Herchamer's by 80 Indians & four Frenchmen" (see for full text).
Complete in 8 pages, measures 8 by 11 inches, a bit of foxing, very nice condition.
