CONFEDERATE CIVIL WAR BOND  Here is a very nice "Confederate States of America" $500 bond dated March 2, 1863 which still has 7 of the $20 coupons attached. This bond was authorized by an Act of the Confederate Congress of Feb. 20, 1863. This bond would yield 8 per cent with a final maturity of July 1, 1868 (see photos). Very ornate and still in great, clean condition. Measures about 13 by 14 in.
