May 03, 1864
DAILY RICHMOND EXAMINER, from Richmond,Virginia, dated May 3, 1864. This is a rare title from the Capital of the Confederacy. A large single sheet issue with front page articles headed:

* The War In North Carolina
* Evacuation Of Washington By The Yankees
* Sinking Of The Yankee Vessels By The Florida
* The Victory Of Plymouth

There is more Civil War coverage on the back page as well. This issue has a wealth of war reporting! There are ads on both pages as well, many of which are military in theme. Also included is a Presidential message signed in type: Jefferson Davis

This singlepage issue has some center crease wear with some holes  and staining. A few tiny holes elsewhere, otherwise good. See photos for details.
