October 20, 1842
EMANCIPATOR AND FREE AMERICAN, Boston, Massachusetts, October 20, 1842.  A great anti-slavery title from the mid-19th century.  This issue features many interesting articles/headlines, which include the following:  "Dr. Humphrey's Sermon on Dueling", "Address of the Indiana State Anti-Slavery Society...", "Democratic Liberty Ticket", "Supporting Slavery", "Slavery and Emancipation", and much more.  The issue is in good condition, with only a small amount of discoloration at the fold.  The left margin is somewhat rough due to disbinding, but is mostly in tact.
