THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, May 13, 1865.
* Rare engraving where the conspirators' trial happened
This is a quite rare issue as the front page has a very nice graphic headed: "THE ASSASSINS AND CONSPIRATORS. The Arsenal Building, Washington, where the Culprits are on Trial." showing the exterior with several guards (see).
Related front page heads include: "WASHINGTON" "The Treason Trials! "Conclusion of the Harris Trial" "The Assassins of Mr. Lincoln" "Their Trial Commenced" "The Criminals & Their Counsel" and more.
Eight pgs., never bound, a few archival mends to inside pgs., small piece from bottom right corner affect blank margin on pg. 1 & a bit of text on pg. 2. Very nice display issue.
