* Before Statehood
A very early issue from this famous Western community, as the very first newspaper in Colorado didn't begin until 1859. And Colorado didn't become a state until 1876 making this an early Territorial newspaper.
The front page includes: "Three Men Hung at Dale City" "Shooting Affray" "Notice of the Creation of An Additional Land District in the Territory of Colorado, with Office at Central City".
Most of pgs.. 2 & 3 are taken up with ads, many illustrated, and pg. 4 has both news & ads. Four pgs., great condition.
