Page 2 heads include; "From Sharpsburg" "The Battle Re-Opened" "Heavy Loss in Union Officers" "The Rebels in a Tight Place" "Their Loss is 40,000" "Casualties of the Late Battle" "The Battle of Wednesday" "Gen. McClellan Satisfied" "Another Battle to be Fought" "The Army In High Spirits" and even more (see).

Plus even more heads on page 4 with: "GLORIOUS NEWS" "Despatch from General McClellan" "A Complete Federal Victory!" and more (see). as well as: "Another Despatch From General McClellan" "The Enemy Abandoning their Dead & Wounded" "The Federals in Hot Pursuit". 

A great wealth of reporting on 3 pages. This was the bloodiest day of the Civil War with both sides losing over 10,000 men in killed & wounded.
