A front page report says: "The town of Indianapolis, in the State of Indiana, which was laid out in October, 1821, contains, according to a late census, a population of seven hundred and sixty souls; of which, two hundred are legal voters, sixty one are unmarried males, over the age of twenty-one, and forty-eight unmarried females, over the age fifteen."

Other news of the day with some advertisements.

A few stray notations on the front page, stray writing above the masthead, large area of foxing in the lower half, otherwise nice.
