Item # 221891
February 12, 1780
THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, February 12, 1780 This issue contains lengthy reporting under the heading: "Parliamentary Proceedings" and among the "House of Commons" discussions is some talk regarding America including: "...Barbadoes and Virginia were most flourishng colonies before the Board of Trade had an existence. Pennsylvania sprung up & prospered amazingly at a period when that Board had been suspended; & Georgia & Nova Scotia the only two colonies that had ever been cursed with its fostering care had never thriven while under its direction..." with more.
There is much other reporting of news of the day however I do not find any Revolutionary War items.
Complete in 8 pgs., never bound nor trimmed, there are tears to 3 of the 4 leaves but missing text caused by a hole on just the back leaf tear.
