In the Domestick Occurrences section is a report stating in part: Arrived in the River the resolution, with 3 large Whales, the Fins are compared to about 3 Tons. She was one of the S. Sea Greenland Ships. Her success is ascribed to an Instrument for shooting the Harpoons at the Whales....the success of a Dutch Ship arrived...is very extraordinary; she catchd no less than 15 Whales... Octavo-size, 52 pgs., with a full title/index page, and an engraving of St. Johns Gate in the masthead. Good condition.
