This is an authentic Civil War era issue containing many advertisements and Civil War reports from the day it was first reported.  Some of the headings/reports include:  "How Meade and Grant Act While a Battle Rages","Operations Against Petersburg", "Mrs Grant and 'Mr. Grant'", and "Rebel Assault at White House".  Great Civil War reporting, with much re: Freedmen schools and negro spirituality.
